Dr. Sunethra Semasinghe

Dr. Sunethra Semasinghe completed her MBBS degree in 2014 from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka and worked as a medical officer for Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka covering areas such as Child Health, Women Health, Emergency Medicine and Primary Care Health until migrating to Australia. After moving to Tasmania, Dr. Sunethra has worked in Launceston General Hospital for more than 2 years covering Emergency Medicine, Women Health, Respiratory, Orthopaedic, Haematology and General Surgery areas.


Dr. Sunethra is a Doctoral member of International Society of Travel Medicine and completed a Primary Certificate of Immunisation & Vaccination.


She is very excited to welcome new patients to her care in Rose Cottage Medical Centre



Dr Preeti Deshpande

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Preeti Deshpande is RACGP fellow member, graduated in 2006. Dr Preeti Deshpande manages all areas of GP including Women and Child Health, Mens Check, Chronic Disease Management, Health Employment Assessments and Mental Health.


She speaks English and Hindi.

Associate Professor Paul Cameron

Immunologist, Allergist

BmedSci, MBBS, PhD, FRACGP FRACP

Prof Paul Cameron is a clinical immunologist and immunopathologist with a particular interest in immunodeficiency Allergies, HIV and Hep C medicine.


He has worked as an immunologist, allergist and immunopathologist at the Royal Perth Hospital, Westmead Hospital and for the last 15 years at the Alfred Hospital. His clinical work at these institutions has been in infectious diseases, allergy and clinical immunology.


He has been active in research as a clinical scientist in immunology and infectious diseases at Rockefeller University, Monash University, and the University of Melbourne and has been an author on more than 130 papers and continues to hold an honorary academic position at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity.
